The top of the wall or the edge of the roof are not only the most prominent part of your façade, they’re also the most exposed. Hence, it’s important that these areas are capped in an aesthetically pleasing way, and that they are at least as robust as the rest of your façade.

The style and shape of your cappings is usually dictated by the materials and design of your structure. Metals cappings are often used on wood, plaster or stone edges as well as matching or complimentary metals. They can blend or contrast; add highlights, or break up large areas; blend in or stand out. It all depends on what you want from your structure.

From a fabrication viewpoint, they’re usually custom cut and folded to within miniscule tolerances, and welded together and fixed to the structure.
